"Canned" is the second segment of the second episode of Rocko's Modern Life. It and its partner episode, "A Sucker For the Suck-O-Matic", premiered during SNICK on September 18, 1993. It notably marks the first appearances of Filburt Turtle, Ed Bighead, Bev Bighead, and Mr. Dupette.
Synopsis[]
Rocko is fired from his job at Super-Lot-o'-Comics and starts searching for a new job. After several failed attempts, he tries applying for a job at Conglom-O, where Ed Bighead subjects him to product testing.
Notes[]
- This episode depicts Mr. Dupette as Rocko's former boss at Super-Lot-o'-Comics, while Ed appears to be in charge of Conglom-O, or at least its product testing department. This is contradicted by later episodes where Mr. Dupette is the CEO of Conglom-O while Ed is a lower-level employee.
