This bumper was used from 1986 to 1992. It was also used as a closing part of Super Sloppy Double Dare. Created by Edward Bakst and Fred/Alan.

Dino Bop Features a trio of singing dinosaurs (voiced by the Jive Five) wearing neckties doo-woping alongside other dinosaurs. A volcano erupting orange Nickelodeon lava appears at the end. This bumper was used from 1988 to 2001. Created by Joey Ahlbum and Fred/Alan.

Spelling Bee Features a trio of girls spelling Nickelodeon in scrambled ways before getting it right. There were two variants; each with a different background. In one of the variants, the text is Ice Kold Neon, followed by Liked No Cone, Cool Keen Din, and finally Nickelodeon. This bumper was used from 1992 to 1999.

Main Course Features a waiter lifting up a dish's lid to reveal unusual separate courses, including an eskimo fishing while singing, a hippo eating grass and a Viking before dropping a orange anvil on the dish. This was used from 1986 to 1994. But reappeared on The '90s Are All That block in 2011. Created by Charlex and Fred/Alan.

Barks Features all dogs barking, ending with a pack of orange wolves. Internationally, Nickelodeon used to use this ident to sign-off every night. In the United States, it was an everyday bumper used from 1988 to 1995. A doubled sped-up version was used to promote Nickelodeon Goes Looney (when Looney Tunes started airing on Nickelodeon). Waiting For You Features a quartet of fish singing on a stage, voiced by a member of The Jive Five and a three-woman choir. This was used on from 1986 to mid-90s. It was also used as a closing part of Super Sloppy Double Dare. Created by David Lubell and Fred/Alan.

Doo-wop-a-saurus Once again features singing dinosaurs, but this time with blue shoes and not with neckties. The dinosaurs find a small orange tree alongside a green T-rex watching a television on a chair. The dinosaurs turn around and see a purple pterodactyl with headphones and with a portable radio on flying. The middle dinosaur puts on orange Nickelodeon sunglasses at the end. It was used from 1987 to mid-90s. This bumper was also featured in a promo for the 2023 Kids' Choice Awards, with the middle sunglasses-wearing dinosaur being more featured in the awards' theming. Pinchface Features a flying glasses-wearing face with fake teeth singing "Nickelodeon!" in a miniature room while fists with straw hats and faces are singing "Nick-nick-nick-nick-nick-nick!". It was used from 1992 to 1998, but makes a triumphant return in 2011 on The '90s Are All That block. Created by Colossal Pictures and Fred/Alan.

Take 50 Behind the scenes of other movie sets, including a car about to go into an orange tunnel. This was used from 1985 to 1992.

Movie Star Features the letters which spell out Nickelodeon on a logo sneaking out of a dressing room before getting caught. This was used from 1985 to 1993. Created by Colossal Pictures and Fred/Alan.

Plug Features a man pulling a plug and either meeting an orange octopus, being turned upside-down, or finding a giant orange boat. This was used from 1986 to 1992 to 2021 to 2022.

Worms Features claymation worms dancing and squirming around the Nickelodeon logo and eventually surround it, when the logo was revealed to be more worms and they all scatter. This was used from 1987 to 1994. Created by Noyes & Laybourne and Fred/Alan.

Flipbook Features a cowboy getting flipped by a book, losing his orange hat which turns into an airplane and a tree, before getting it back, There was also a alternate version with the same things happening, The only difference is that when he gets it back, It gets flung on the flipbook, This was used from 1987 to 1992.

Flying TV Monster Features a boy's television as an orange rhino-like creature with yellow wings for horns jumps into it, becoming a green-colored television monster that the boy rides. This bumper was used from 1986 to 1992. It was also used as a closing part of Super Sloppy Double Dare.

Apple Worms Features a quintet of singing worms in an apple. This was used from 1987 to 1994.

Origami Has hands making things out of paper while sound effects play to the corresponding item and at the end a man says "Nick(pause)elodeon!" and then the hands wrinkle up all the papers. This was used from 1986 to the late '90s. Created by Noyes & Laybourne and Fred/Alan.

Barnyard Has different kids singing "Nick nick nick nick ni-nick nick nick, Nickelodeon! Nick Is Kids!" while we see a set of farm models. It was used from 1992 to the late '90s.

Easy Groove a trio of guys (voiced by three members of The Jive Five) sing Nickelodeon doo-wop next to a orange billboard while construction workers change the Nickelodeon logo to different shapes. This bumper was used from 1985 to 1992. Created by Jerry Lieberman and Fred/Alan.

Montage Features many characters from 1980s and 1990s IDs, with the trio of guys from the Easy Groove ID singing the 1985 Top of the Hour ID audio. It starts off with the guys over part of the Dog and Parrot ID, complete with the parrot, then the Flying TV Monster comes in and the logo's text scrolls from right-to-left as a pineapple, banana, and orange from the Fruits ID, a Nicktoons blob man, three sauropod dinosaurs, and the horse with a cowboy riding it walk around. The singing frog appears and then the lollipops man from the 1987 Top of the Hour ID, which zoom into the lollipops to see a shot of the Take 50 ID complete with the pterodactyl from the Doo-Wop-A-Saurus ID flying, with the trio of guys on the right, then a dinosaur skateboards around twice followed by a T. Rex (both from the Dino Bop ID) appearing and then the fishes from the 1985 Top of the Hour ID eat each other with the orange fish eating last before swimming from the T. Rex. Then, the anteater eating his plate of spaghetti appears over a shot of the animated road from the 1985 Top of the Hour ID. As this happens, the Nicktoons blob man, fruits, and dinosaurs walk around again, then the orange fish swims around as the background sweeps to the Aliens ID with the T. Rex from the Submarine ID appearing, then a circle wipe to a shot of the Viking with a weapon from the Main Course ID (complete with the logo followed by the anvil), which fades to the orange cup zooming out from the Nick Brew ID with the Nicktoons blob man walking past again and finally the bumper cars with the cat and the dog from the 1985 Top of the Hour ID crashing and moving back to return to the Take 50 ID and then the Easy Groove guys appear again with a orange splat as the fruits, dinosaurs, and cowboy and horse run around again and the singing frog runs and stops at the left side of the screen. The ID wipes out with a television turn-off effect.

This bumper was frequently used as an opening sequence to music videos and VHS tapes of Nickelodeon shows that were released from 1993 and 1999. The last part of the bumper was also used as the closing sequence for both. In the Sony Wonder and Paramount VHS releases until 1999, the closing variant is not included. Instead, after the Nickelodeon logo with copyrights, it goes right to the Sony Wonder logo and the Paramount logo.

Paper Chase Has a pair of scissors cutting out a orange paper doll who tries to outrun the scissors. This bumper was used from 1992 to 1998.

Aligator & Frog, Dragon & Frog A Michigan J. Frog-esque frog sings on an alligator. In another version of this bumper, he sings on an dragon. This was used from 1986 to 1992. Created by David Lubell and Fred/Alan.

Bulldog Crew A quartet of wild animals (a lion, a rhinoceros, a crocodile, and a snake, voiced by four members of The Jive Five) bark like dogs then sing "Bow-wow-wow-wow-wow-ya! Nickelodeon! Nickelodeon! Nickelodeon!" (the snake howled as the other three animals sing Nickelodeon the first two times). There is another version with the audio from the "Nick Writing" ID where they sing "Nick nick nick nick ni-nick nick nick, Nickelodeon!". At the end of both versions, the orange leaves of 2 trees between the quartet of animals form the Nickelodeon logo above them. This ID was used from 1987 to 1992. Sleeping Boy Features a sleeping boy with a logo dream clouds appearing as he walks to bed. This was used from 1985 to 1992, and was often used as a sign-off bumper in the United States.

Aliens Has singing aliens (two female and one male) in a spaceship going to a drive-in movie on Jupiter. A orange saturn appears on a television screen at the end with other variants at the bottom. This ID was used from 1985 to 1996. Created by David Lubell and Fred/Alan.

Rudolph Features Rudolph with a bright orange nose flying, before discovering he cannot fly. He uses the nose as a parachute, and it gets into his antlers. Only seen on the Sony Wonder VHS release of "Doug's Christmas Story".

Pat-a-Cake Has shadows playing pat-a-cake in space. This was used from 1985 to 1992.

Never Done Features a boy finding a gumball which turns into different objects like a ball, a telescope, a heart, a monster, a skateboard, and a giant ball, which all the kids that were shown in the bumper stand on.

Never Done (Long) A long version of the Never Done bumper featuring scenes from Nickelodeon shows, episodes, and movies.

Nicktoons Blob Intro A computer-animated blob that turns into a fish, a dinosaur, a human, and then the blob again. This was used as a lead-in to Nicktoon airings from 1992 to 2000 and again in 2006 (Nick Rewind block only). The audio of this bumper is featured as the second track on The Best of Nicktoons. In 2015, It was later recreated as a bumper for The Splat.

Cave Drawing Features a caveman who draws a television on the cave wall and turns it on. Audio from the Top of the Hour bumper can be heard as the screen shows the logo on an orange background and the animals run toward the television to watch with the caveman. Top of the Hour 1985-1987 The ID starts with a television (with the screen that wrote "Nickelodeon") with some shapes emerging from it. A parody of Salvador Dalí's Persistence of Memory is seen. orange clocks spin their hands and then melt, then flying calendars with the logo on top of each one are shown over a shot of the house and seasons change from summer to winter, then a 20th Century Fox-esque structure with searchlights on it, with 1985, 1986 or 1987 (the year that depends) with Nickelodeon below it, then we cut to panning down an animated road and stop at a orange street sign, then it cuts to a road with men are driving race cars with hot dogs, with a orange bun on top of each hot dog, then a orange rocket passes by an animated city, then different kids (three girls and three boys) with fashion and accessories appear against different colored backgrounds, a Mona Lisa image with googly eyes, a orange heart beats once, a robot with human ears appears, a orange drawing appears, a gorilla with a bowtie that spins once with a tuxedo, a orange ice cream scoop is seen falling on an ice cream cone, then a cat and a dog drive bumper cars (when they collide into each other, the Nickelodeon text appears), then at the bottom of an animated ocean a smaller fish gets eaten by a bigger fish, with others getting eaten by a orange fish, then we cut to a front seat ride on a rollercoaster going through a orange cloud tunnel with a clown head, and finally the same orange television with the same objects emitted. There are two children in astronaut suits as well as a robotic puppy watching it, then the Nickelodeon logo jumps out of the television and fills the whole screen and landing as a polygon with spikes on a blue background. Starting in 1986, an alternative ending is also used where the Nickelodeon logo at the end is a splat. Another alternative ending is also used where the Nickelodeon logo at the end is a cloud. This one features the Jive Five singing doo-wop with the Nickelodeon jingle at the beginning and end of the ID, which was heard most often when it first appeared on television. Dancing Fruits A trio of fruits (a pineapple, a banana, and an orange) are singing Orange You Glad and fall into a orange splat. This ID was used from 1987 to 1993.

Silly Putty Features various objects appear with Nickelodeon spelled in scrambled ways. The first object (a circle) has the syllables "odel", "one", and "Nick", then changes to a second object saying "Nickel", "on", and "deo" from left to right, which changes to another object saying "ode", "Nickel", and "on" from left to right before changing to the last object to spell Nickelodeon correctly.

Jackhammer A construction worker for "Big Richie's Road Repair" drills the Nickelodeon text into an orange street with a jackhammer.

Hey Arnold!: Bedroom Features Arnold going into his bedroom, turning on his CD player, flipping open his couch (alongside Gerald), and then turning his television on to Nickelodeon. This was used from 1997 to 2002, and re-aired on The Splat.

Oddparents New Episode Premiere Features a male voiceover who says "And now, a brand new episode of Nickelodeon's new Nicktoon, The Fairly OddParents." Cosmo and Wanda dance and disappear into a poof cloud.

SpaceFeatures a trio of kids outside in night, as a firecracker passes by. It shoots up to space as it hits an astronaut, a satellite that starts spinning uncontrollably and finally a moon with a very angry look on its' face. The firecracker then pops and the Nickelodeon logo appears. This bumper was used from 1985 to 1992. It was also used for a closing part of Super Sloppy Double Dare.

Big Beast QuintetFeatures a quintet of animals (an alligator, a bird, a rhino with wings for ears, a rabbit, and a creature of unknown species) walking down a road wearing shirts with scrambled letters on them. From left to right, the gator's shirt says "EL", the bird's shirt says "CK", the rhino's shirt says "ON", the rabbit's shirt says "ODE", and the unknown creature's shirt says "NI". Then the animals change their shirts to spell Nickelodeon correctly (with the gator changing into the "NI" shirt, the bird still wearing the "CK" shirt, the rhino changing into the "EL" shirt, the rabbit still wearing the "ODE" shirt, and the unknown creature changing into the "ON" shirt). A television with a face on it appears as the shirts merge to form a rectangle above the television's face, the Nickelodeon wordmark flashes, and the quintet of animals continue to walk down the road. (and the speech bubble saying it appears) as the logo appears out of the trumpet, then Tri-Cat says "El!" as "El" appears, and the Opera Bird sings "Oooo!" in an opera voice as "Oooo" appears (then changes to only one "O") and the cat says "Dee!" as the word "Dee" appears, and the human hits the cymbal with a drumstick and the words combine together with the "On" appearing to spell out "Nickelodeon" (with "Dee" changing to "De") and the dog, the cat and the bird say the name of the channel. MazeFeatures two kids (a black girl and a white boy) running in a maze and discovering unusual things such as orange butterflies, a giant orange flower that the kids jump on, and an orange bubble that chases the two kids. At the end, the two kids end up leaving the maze. This was used from 2000 to 2003. Only seen on some Nickelodeon VHS releases.

GeeseThis one was from 2005-2006. It featured two geese flying through the sky and making goose noises. The last "goose" was a orange splat that played the Nickelodeon jingle instead of making goose sounds.

Egg and Spoon

In a purple room, with an egg on a stand on top of a table full of Nickelodeon logos, a spoon taps on the egg, which gains the face of a monster, complete with green hair, horns, a nose ring, and a giant mouth with fangs. The monster egg makes a noise resembling a low pitched roar, which causes the spoon, which turns into a chicken, to start squawking in fear, then it runs off. The monster egg then looks at the people, then turns towards the screen as he swallows the screen and as the Nickelodeon logo is imprinted on its uvula. This was used from 1990 until 2004.

The Penguins from Madagscar (Transforming Logo) Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private were transforming into the logo in the orange background. Used in 2011 to 2013.
