From Nickelodeon
Gábor Csupó [gab-or tchoo-po] (b. Budapest, Hungary, 1952) is a Hungarian-born animator and co-founder of Klasky Csupo, which made shows like "Rugrats" and "Duckman." He is also a big fan of Frank Zappa, whom he credits for helping him learn English. His collection of albums by Zappa was the only thing he took when he fled his native Hungary for America in the late 1970s. After fleeing Hungary, he met Arlene Klasky, an American-born animator, while working in Sweden. The two later started their own company, and the rest is history.
