Nick Jr. is a television channel and former block in the United Kingdom and Ireland is operated by Nickelodeon Latin America. The channel is aimed at younger children.
Currently, it features the same programming as the Nick Jr. original block on Nickelodeon, as well as some shows previously seen on the block and Team Umizoomi.
Nick Jr. Latin America was originally a block on Nickelodeon Latin America, lasting from 2001 to 2007. Like the American version, Nick Jr's mascot was Cara instead of Face (Cara is Portuguese/Spanish word for Face). In 2008, Nickelodeon declared a 24/7 channel for preschoolers in Spanish, Nick Jr.
