SCRIPTOONS ✏️"The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker" The Fairly OddParents 🌟 Nick Animation

"The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker!" is the 34th episode of The Fairly OddParents.

Synopsis[]

It is March 15th, the day when Denzel Crocker is at his most sadistic. As Crocker torments his students (including placing a magnet under Chester's desk so that it pulls his braces down onto his desk and asking A.J. rhetorical questions he cannot answer), Timmy asks why he's doing this to them. Crocker responds by asking why he himself is still a miserable school teacher whose tracking device (which is made of an egg beater) cannot find a fairy godparent for him to capture. Timmy decides to find out why Crocker is so rotten. That afternoon, Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda appear at Crocker's house, disguised as hummingbirds, where they see Crocker rejecting a cake made by his mother, who wants him to go back to being the happy boy he once was, something Crocker denies ever having been. Overhearing this, Timmy decides to go back in time to learn more about what happened to Mr. Crocker that made him so mean.

Wishing up the Time Scooter from "Father Time" again, Timmy and his fairies travel back to 1992 and arrives right outside his home when it was being purchased by his parents, who were then expecting his birth (and thought he was going to be a girl). Using A.J.'s DNA tracker, they quickly find Crocker, having only recently become an elementary school teacher, getting into a car accident with Principal Waxelplax. Crocker says he will be able to pay for the damages once he captures a fairy, leading Timmy to know that they haven't gone far back enough. They then travel back to Dimmsdale University in 1982, where Crocker is about to make a big speech in the auditorium. In his speech, Crocker tells everyone that he has discovered proof that fairy godparents exist, but everyone laughs him off the stage, and the scientists and military men who were planning to give him big checks instead decide to invest in Sheldon Dinkleberg's parachute pants. (During all this, it is also revealed that Mr. Turner was working as a janitor at the university and that he and Mrs. Turner became a couple after Dinkleberg broke up with her.) Timmy then overhears Crocker saying this is the second worst day of his life, and realizes he now has to go back further in time.

Timmy and his fairies arrive in Dimmsdale on March 14, 1972. They soon find the ten-year-old Denzel Crocker, who is actually a kind-hearted, popular kid who even rescues a young Mr. Turner from being run over by a truck. Nanette Ubetcha (a reporter who is likely Chet Ubetcha's mother) interviews Denzel about his heroics and says that tomorrow will be "Denzel Crocker Day". Unaware of his future student/archenemy following him, Denzel goes home to tell his mother the good news, but she says she has to go to her job at the 8-Track factory and is leaving his babysitter, an evil teenager named Vic (presumably a relative of Vicky's), to look after him. Disguised as hummingbirds again, Timmy and his fairies spy on Denzel and find him talking to two parrots... who are then revealed to be Cosmo and Wanda. Needless to say, Timmy is shocked to learn that his fairy godparents were also once Crocker's, but Cosmo and Wanda don't have any memory of having been Crocker's godparents. Timmy figures that Crocker must have done something that caused him to lose his fairies the very next day (and he quickly figures that it was Cosmo's fault).

The next morning, Timmy follows young Denzel to Dimmsdale City Hall where everyone is gathering to celebrate Denzel Crocker Day. Crocker comes to make a speech in front of the crowd, and Wanda tells Timmy this must be the point where he lost them. When 1972 Cosmo almost blurts out Denzel's secret to everyone, Wanda turns off the power to the microphones and Timmy jumps to get Denzel away from the microphone. Timmy explains to Denzel that he's from the future and is trying to save him from losing his fairy godparents. However, Cosmo then turns the power back on right as Timmy mentions that, and 1972 Cosmo outright reveals his fairy form to the audience. This causes the 1972 Jorgen to show up and tell Denzel that he has revealed his secret and now forfeits Cosmo and Wanda. Jorgen then uses a "Forgeticen" device to make everyone forget what happened, but before he loses his memory of his fairies, Denzel grabs a piece of 1972 Cosmo's hair and puts it in the DNA tracker that Timmy left behind, which he then writes "Fairy godparents exist" on. Afterwards, the crowd thinks they're an angry mob and chase Denzel away.

Having now realized what really made Crocker who he is, Timmy tells Cosmo and Wanda that they should go back to March 14th and stop this event from ever happening. However, both the present-day Jorgen and his 1972 counterpart forbid him from doing so, and forcibly zap him and his fairies back to the present. Meanwhile, young Denzel Crocker, having narrowly avoided the angry mob, looks at the words "Fairy godparents exist" written on the DNA tracker her now has, and vows to capture a fairy godparent. Back in the present-day, Timmy and his fairies see the present-day Crocker lurking about, now using the DNA tracker that Timmy left behind in 1972, but he is again chased off by the angry mob, which now consists of some elderly people.
